Once you have passed through this, you are ready to go.
Picking a wholesaler, on the other hand, is not quite so effortless. First off, you want to make sure that you go with a reputable company; one who is going to provide you with a high quality product. If you are sending your customers low quality items, do you think they will order from you again or refer anyone to you? This is a given, but no they will not. Instead, they will go where they can get the quality they expect, want, and deserve.
When it comes to shipping, you typically have two options. The most common is to go with a wholesaler that will drop ship your products. What this means is that you never have to ship a single item. Your customer places their order; the order is sent to the wholesaler, the wholesaler then packages and ships the product. All shipping costs are handled through the ordering, the customer, and the wholesaler.
The other shipping option would be, obviously, for you to ship the products. This means that you will have to keep a stock of product at your residence or office. Not only will you have to come up with upfront cash, keep replenishing your stock, and ship every order, but you will have to keep any eye out on trends as well (so you know what to stock and what not to stock). This is the more stressful option but if you can handle it, go for it.
Selling wholesale clothing is something that could make you a decent secondary income. Take your time finding the right manufacturer and setting up a good store front, and you should have no problems. As long as you have a passion for clothing and can spend some time on it, you will be an online entrepreneur in no time.
