Some Info On Makeup Brushes

You’ll find that most sets of eyeshadow and even eyelash products come with an applicator brush, but these aren’t as useful as a set of real high quality makeup brushes. The tiny brushes you get with most makeup wear out quickly and aren’t that great for applying the makeup. A good set of professional-grade makeup brushes are probably less expensive than you think and are a sound investment.

There are several different options to consider when trying to choose the right makeup brushes. No applicator arsenal is complete without a large brush for powdered makeups. These types of makeup brushes feature a round, thick brush with soft bristles that are designed for applying makeup evenly over the entire face.

A large powder brush should be used as a bronzer, it is sometimes confused with the similar but smaller blush brush. A blush brush is the optimal size for targeted application to specific areas of the face. If you try to use a large powder brush to apply blush you may end up with color in spots you don’t want. A good brush blush will give you both the control and coverage you need.

The bulk of your makeup brushes will likely be for applying makeup to and around your eyes. A basic brush for eyeshadow should be small and square. This can be used for applying color to your eyes and highlighting your brow area.

An angle brush is useful for creating numerous makeup effects, and will be quite effective for precise application in the creases of the eyes, along with the outer corner. When you are working on the lash line, either applying a line of dark shadow, or eye liner, a fine-tip brush will give you an amazing look.

Brushes that are made with all natural fibers are going to last longer and hold up better. You should consider investing in this type. It is also important to wash your brushes every 2 weeks or so. This will help to remove any excess makeup or impurities that may have gotten onto the brushes.

You should store your brushes separate from your makeup. They should be kept dry and clean in a bag or container. If your makeup brushes have become worn or old, don’t be afraid to invest in some new ones. Makeup brushes can make the difference in your makeup application. And they don’t have to cost a lot!
