I’ve already been spending loads of time on the web nowadays due to the fact I just cannot determine which things to order in preparation for my friend’s bridal shower that I will likely be hosting. It’s the least I could do for my friend who will soon become a bride and this is the only real type of gift that I could think of that she will likely be able to recall forever. I tried to refer to her less because I needed to make it a little extra unique. I do not want to make it appear like a thing that she decided on since it will likely be my gift for her anyway so I am in control.
The first thing that I’ve been deciding on is what theme to use for the bridal shower that I am throwing for her. She is a very comical and hilarious person so why not go with a tea party similar to the Mad Hatter from Alice In Wonderland?
Food should not be a problem since it’s just going to be a tea party. Heart tarts, chocolate cupcakes with cherry on top, cookies with jelly frosting and chocolate-dipped strawberries and cherries should do the trick. If they come craving for something salty, I can come up with a few sandwiches and pizza bites, too. As for the drinks, basically tea, coffee, hot or cold chocolate and fresh fruit juices should do the trick. OF course, I won’t forget to include the tags “Drink me!” and “Eat me!” on food and drinks to make it look more genuine as is in the movie.
The fancy teacups, teapots, plates, table cloth, paper lanterns and flowers will complete the entire Mad Hatter’s Tea Party-themed bridal shower. Needless to say, anyone should come in their particular craziest hat. The crazier and sillier, the better. I still do not know if I am going to be providing the bride-to-be that has a crazy hat or maybe I should just ask her to come in her craziest hat at the same time. She isn’t going to have any idea what model of bridal shower I’m throwing for her so this one must be a blast.
Just to make sure that the information doesn’t leak out to her, I didn’t tell any of the guests who will be attending the tea party about my plans. Sometimes, as much as I want our other friends to help me out with this but I just can’t help to keep it to myself because I have the need to surprise my friends especially the soon-to-be-bride even just this once.
I’ve nearly completed my list of things to do and what to get. The only thing left to do is to go shopping for them. I find the World Wide Web extremely useful and helpful in finding the motif that I want for my surprise tea party/bridal shower for my friend. I even got the recipes of the cookies plus the other snacks that I will likely be generating from diverse internet sites to be capable to come up with just one, massive occasion. As for purchasing the stuff I desire, I’d rather do it simply by foot to make sure that almost everything turns out nearly perfect than I planned. Nothing at all beats the genuine shopping after all.
