Supra was founded in 2003 by a man called Angel Cabada who is behind the brand KREW apparel as well. He took on Supra as a second business model but the brand took of and hasn’t stopped growing since. He believed in the brand and invested a large sum of money to get it of its feet when a lot of people doubted him. I reckon he is certainly glad he made his decision.

Individuality is a what keeps Supra so modern, interesting and popular. They do not follow the rest of them and instead go for a completely different design, look and feel. Nike for example have always kept a similar pattern and even there SB shoes don’t stray to far from the norm. Supra have a number of models to suit all tastes with a range of high, mid and low sneakers.

Supra not only have the look but they also have the durability and this then makes them even more appealing to the skating industry. Supra have released a number of different models however one has come out on top because it has both style and strength and that is the Supra Skytop. This shoe is worn by many all over the world and continues to grow now with the Skytop 2 which has just hit the stores.

Skateboarding today is a worldwide respected sport and Supra are definitely helping it grow in popularity. They have their own skate team and signed some of the worlds best in the game who now have their own models being released. Chad Muska and Eric Ellighton are just two of them and they have had massive success with their shoe releases. Skytops today are also being worn by most celebrities which again is only boosting the popularity

It was Mr Cabada who believed in the brand in the beginning where as a lot of other people didn’t. Usually in this industry it is only the hardcore skaters who take on these brands but he put in a large sum of money at it just grew and grew. It then over took his main mission which was the KREW brand and is now one of the biggest sneaker brands on the market. I myself have a number of pairs and I will continue to wear them as they keep improving.

Supra skytops are hugely popular sneaker at the minute and believe they will be at the top of the sneaker ladder for some time to come.
